Anita Gohel, BDS, PhD Joins College Faculty

Anita Gohel, BDS, PhD

On January 4, 2016, Dr. Anita Gohel will join the college as the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Program.

Dr. Gohel currently serves as a clinical professor in the Department of General Dentistry at Boston University's School of Dental Medicine, where she is also the Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Her education includes a BDS degree from Calcutta University (India), as well as a PhD in biomedical science and a certificate in oral and maxillofacial radiology from the University of Connecticut in Farmington. 

Dr. Gohel has taught radiology courses that range from basic radiographic principles and interpretation to cephalometric and panoramic techniques and interpretation of cone beam CT scans. 

She is the vice president of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and she is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology
