Medical Updates for the Dental Professional

Research continues to offer compelling evidence of the interrelationship between patients’ oral health and overall physical health. As a result, it has become increasingly important for dental practitioners to stay current on the medical conditions or treatments that can impact—or be impacted by—oral health.

The College of Dentistry helps maximize dental practitioners’ role in improving the overall health of their patients as well as treating medically complex patients in its unique continuing education event, “Medical Updates for the Dental Professional.”  During the event, subject matter experts from Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center, College of Pharmacy, and College of Dentistry will present a variety of current topics relevant to today’s dental professional.

This year’s event takes place March 18-19, 2016 at The Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center on Ohio State’s campus. Two-day and single-day registration options are available.
