Prospective Students

Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program

Are you interested in furthering your education in dental hygiene?

The Dental Hygiene Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program at Ohio State offers the general education of a baccalaureate degree (bachelor of science) with advanced education in dental hygiene. Our online course of study is for dental hygienists with an associate degree or certificate in dental hygiene from a CODA accredited dental program. Scheduling is flexible and students may enroll part-time or full-time.  Other required courses for the degree are available on the Columbus campus during the day or evening, at OSU's regional campuses in Lima, Mansfield, Marion and Newark.  A minimum of 30 semester hours must be earned at Ohio State.  The time required to complete the baccalaureate degree varies, but most students can complete the program in two years full-time study or less, or three to four years if enrolled part-time.
