Rocking Horse Community Health Center
Safety-Net Children's Dental Clinic Needs Dentist
5,000 of our children are in need of dental services. We need your help.
In Clarke County, Ohio (Dayton/Cincinnati Area) dental care is the #1 unmet health need of our children. Many of our community's children do not have access to even basic dental care, because their family is uninsured or their insurance will not cover dental care. Many are low-income or living in poverty. Rocking Horse Community Health Center is poised to step up and make the difference to provide desperately needed oral health services for children in our community. Thanks to a very generous gift from one local family, the funding for the construction of a new dental suite has been secured. We have the facility. We need dentists to care for these underserved children. No patient will be turned away due to their income, lack of insurance or inability to pay. Full-time, part-time, permanent and temporary positions are available to help us to open, administer, maintain and expand our planned program of primary (and in selected instances, secondary care) and preventive dental care, in a safety-net community health center setting. The dental clinic will provide services primarily to children, but also adult patients for acute needs. NHSC Loan Repayment eligible; J1 and HB1 applicants welcome to apply.
