Completion of this course prepares one to take the CDCA examination required for dental hygiene local anesthesia credentialing in Ohio. Participants will complete 13 hours of on-line self-study prior to attending the 16 hour lecture and hands-on sessions. Participants will be taught in the Ohio State University College of Dentistry under the supervision of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery faculty and Dental Hygiene faculty. All participants will give and receive injections and will be asked to complete a consent form and provide proof of current vaccinations prior to attending.
