Lakewood Dental group is looking for a FULL TIME Dentist to work in our private practice.
We are open Monday-Thursday 8-4, Fridays 8-1, NO weekends, or evenings. You are NOT on call.
We are a private practice that has mentorship, camaraderie, and is a highly lucrative position for the right person. We are a fully digital office using Dentrix Ascend software, digital scanners ( Planmeca) plus AI to better enhance our patient experience.
You will have experienced assistants and EFDA support each day as part of your fabulous team.
Continuing Education program is available for mentorship, personal as well as professional development in addition to endo, implant, and ortho training if desired!! This is only a small portion of what we provide.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Conduct patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
Utilize dental imaging and other diagnostic tools to support accurate diagnoses.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
Use dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment options and procedures with patients and team members.
Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of all treatments performed.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialties relevant to patient care.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is required.
Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, anatomy, infection control practices, and dental fabrication processes.
Prior experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy, and comprehensive general dentistry procedures is essential.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation best practices is required.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration are necessary for success in this role.
