Monica Schneider, DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Monica Schneider is an Associate Professor- Clinical and Assistant Dean for Curriculum Innovation and Special Initiatives at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Prior to joining the university in June 2026, she served as Assistant Dean of Admissions and Recruitment and Director of the Dental Biomedical Sciences MS program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) School of Dentistry. Dr. Schneider was also a faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Schneider received her dental degree from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University, Faculty of Stomatology in Lima Peru. She then completed a residency in Orthodontics and University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis MN and a PhD in Health Professions Education at University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Graduate Studies.
