In November 2024, Dean Carroll Ann Trotman hosted the college’s first Shared Values Awards for faculty and staff. Ohio State introduced the Shared Values in 2021 to support meaningful behaviors and actions as members of the university community go through their daily work and life. Six faculty and staff members were recognized for consistently demonstrating Ohio State’s shared values. The winners were nominated by their peers, and a Shared Values committee reviewed the nominees and selected the awardees. Winners received a cash award thanks to the generosity of donor Stan Doty, ’80 DDS. A similar event was held for students in the spring.
The award winners are:
- Ms. Beth Chartier, assistant professor-clinical in the Division of Dental Hygiene, for demonstrating Inclusion and Equity
- Ms. Gloria Everett, pre-clinic lab coordinator, for demonstrating Care and Compassion
