Brandon Yeager, DMD, Receives Tylman Research Award

Dr. Brandon Yeager, a third-year resident in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry, has been selected as a recipient of a Stanley D. Tylman Research Grant from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. Tylman grants are highly competitive awards that are given to full-time students enrolled in any post-doctoral program in the U.S. or Canada who conduct "outstanding research" that is pertinent to fixed prosthodontics.

Tylman grants are named in honor of Dr. Stanley D. Tylman, who was a Professor of Dentistry and head of the Department of Fixed Partial Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry from 1920 to 1962. Dr. Tylman is renowned for his foundational textbook, "Theory and Practice of Crown and Bridge Prostheses."
