Brian Foster, PhD, Honored as One of "Provost's Midcareer Scholars"
Dr. Brian Foster is an Associate Professor in the Division of Biosciences. He is also a nationally renowned researcher whose investigations of tooth root formation and novel approaches for regenerating tissues and restoring dental functions have been consistently funded by the National Institutes of Health - National Institute for Dental and Craniofacial Research.
Dr. Foster's achievements were recently recognized by his inclusion among the the inaugural group of the Provost’s Midcareer Scholars: Scarlet and Gray Associate Professors. He is one of only 10 faculty members at Ohio State whose significant accomplishments qualified them for this honor that showcases midcareer faculty who are "outstanding scholars with strong achievements in teaching and service; are role models for other faculty; inspire students in the classroom or other learning environments; and have demonstrated a commitment to service."
