College Welcomes Dr. Monica Schneider

Dr. Monica Schneider has joined the college as Assistant Dean of Curriculum Innovation and Special Initiatives. She will work with the dean on key efforts, including accreditation and expanding oral health care services in Ohio.

Before joining the college, she worked at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She served as a clinical associate professor in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, director of the Dental Biomedical Sciences MS program, and assistant dean for Admissions and Recruitment.

Dr. Schneider earned her DDS degree from Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University in Lima, Peru. She completed an MS degree and the Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and later earned a PhD in Health Professions Education at the University of Maryland School of Graduate Studies.
