College Welcomes First Fulbright Scholar

Dr. Nesma Sultan

We are proud to welcome the college’s first Fulbright postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Nesma Sultan. She will be at the college for nine months, working on a research project focused on new approaches in regenerative endodontics. Dr. Sultan will also connect with college clinicians and engage with faculty and students.

Dr. Sultan is from Egypt, where she earned her DDS, MBA, and MSc in oral cell biology from the Faculty of Dentistry at Mansoura University. She later earned her PhD from the University of Birmingham in England. She then returned to Mansoura University to join the faculty as a lecturer in oral biology.

During her time here, Dr. Sultan is mentored by Sarah Peters, MS, PhD, assistant professor in the Division of Biosciences.
