Dental Hygiene students took a step toward their future at this year’s Dental Hygiene Networking Night.

Students met with representatives from local dental offices and the college’s Admissions Office. They learned about job opportunities and options for advanced studies.

The night featured an alumni panel—Jacqueline Alphin, Nha Doan, Jessie Mott, Kellie Sellers, and Katrin Tamimi shared their work stories. They answered students' questions and talked about career paths.

Students got advice, made new contacts, and gained confidence as they prepare for the next chapter of their careers.

“It was a wonderful experience, said senior Emma Miller. “I enjoyed having the opportunity to connect with local dental offices and explore other options post-grad, such as working as a temp hygienist or even going back to school to pursue a master’s in dental hygiene.”
