Dr. Brandon Yeager Wins First-Place Prize in Tylman Research Award Program
In 2021, Dr. Brandon Yeager, then a third-year resident in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry, was selected as a recipient of a Stanley D. Tylman Research Grant from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. Tylman grants are highly competitive awards that are given to full-time students enrolled in any post-doctoral program in the U.S. or Canada who conduct "outstanding research" that is pertinent to fixed prosthodontics.
Having recently graduated from the college's Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics, Dr. Yeager's work has again been recognized by the Tylman Research Committee. He has been awarded the first-place prize in the 2022 Tylman Research Award Program for the report titled Error analysis of stages involved in CBCT-guided implant placement with surgical guides when different printing technologies are used. For his research excellence, Dr. Yeager will receive a cash award, and he will be recognized at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics in 2023.
