Ehsan Azadani, DDS, MS is Chair of AAPD CE Committee

An Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ehsan Azadani was recently appointed to a one-year term as Chair of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry’s (AAPD) Journal-based Continuing Education Committee. The AAPD’s continuing education offerings range from comprehensive reviews of pediatric dentistry advances to sedation courses and pediatric medicine updates.

Dr. Azadani has also served as a site visitor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation which evaluates the quality of more than 1,450 dental and dental-related education programs nationwide, including general dentistry, advanced specialty programs, clinical fellowships, and allied dental programs.

In his role as a faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Azadani fulfills didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities, while also serving as a member of the dental team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He is an alumnus of Ohio State's Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry with clinical and research interests that focus on pediatric dental trauma and predictive modeling. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
