Emam, Jatana Certified as Diplomates

College of Dentistry Assistant Professors Hany Emam, BDS, MS, and Courtney Jatana, DDS, MS, were recently certified as Diplomates by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).  The Diplomate designation certifies that Drs. Emam and Jatana have achieved the highest requirements of competence within their field.

Peterson Endowed Professor and Chair, Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesiology. “This is a significant professional accomplishment and one of which I am quite proud.”

“This is the culmination of roughly a decade of postdoctoral training and study,” added Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesiology Professor Gregory Ness, DDS. “Drs. Emam and Jatana deserve huge recognition.”
