Shaping the Future of Dental Research: Dr. Miaomiao Li Joins Elite Mentoring Cohort

Miaomiao Li, PhD, assistant professor in the Division of Biosciences, is selected as one of ten rising leaders in the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) "Mind the Future" mentoring program. The mentoring network “aims to cultivate a robust pathway of future dental, oral and craniofacial researchers who can address critical scientific challenges.”

As a member of the ten-member cohort, Dr. Li will complete at least one full year of intensive, hands-on activities—including mentored grant writing—designed to enhance her career research development.

"I am deeply honored by my selection for the AADOCR Mind the Future program,” Dr. Li said. “I'm excited to learn from and grow with this cohort of peers, aiming to master the art of grant writing to successfully launch an independent research career.”
