Dr. Amana Farrkh Accepted into Ohio State’s Engaged Scholars Academy

Dr. Amana Farrkh, assistant professor in the Division of Dental Public Health, will participate in Ohio State’s Engaged Scholars Academy. This one-year program helps faculty grow as leaders, connect with peers, and learn new ways to serve Ohioans.

Dr. Farrkh will explore topics as they relate to oral care such as

• Building ties with community partners
• Learning about Central Ohio nonprofit organizations
• Assessing community needs
• Exploring best practices of engaged research and teaching

Dr. Farrkh will continue to build skills and relationships that benefit both the college and the communities we serve.
