Empowering Tomorrow's Dentists: Students Attend American Student Dental Association (ASDA) Leadership Conference in Chicago

Through networking events, educational sessions, and hands-on workshops, 21 dental student leaders connected with peers from across the country and gained valuable leadership insights.

“I’m really glad I went to National Leadership Conference and was fortunate Heartland Dental was able to sponsor my trip because it gave me experiences and perspectives I wouldn’t have received anywhere else,” said Class of 2028 Vice President Kofi Darkwa. “I learned a lot about leadership, the realities of dentistry, and how to balance school with real life. The breakout sessions, especially the ones on digital workflows, life balance, and leadership were incredibly valuable and directly relate to the path I want to take. Overall, I left feeling more informed, motivated, and confident about my future in dentistry.”
