Graduate School Fellowships Awarded to College of Dentistry Students

The Ohio State University’s Graduate School recently awarded three fellowships to students who will enter the College of Dentistry’s graduate and residency programs this summer. The fellowships will provide full tuition support, a stipend, and a health insurance subsidy over the academic year of 2025-26. Two of the recipients were nominated by the master’s program in dentistry. One was nominated by the doctorate program in oral biology.

The master’s program fellowship recipients include Nicholas Jones, soon to be a 2025 graduate of the college’s DDS program, and Tommy Lau, DDS, a 2024 graduate of the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry.  Both will join the advanced education program in orthodontics in June.

The doctorate program Early Offer Eminent Scholar fellowship recipient is Golnaz Tajmiri, DDS, a 2021 graduate of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. She will join the PhD in Oral Biology program in August. This fellowship provides a stipend, tuition and fee authorization, and a health insurance subsidy for the first and dissertation years of the student’s program.
