Graduate School Presents Awards to College of Dentistry Students

The Ohio State University Graduate School recently announced the following awards for College of Dentistry graduate students.

Lindsey Williams, DDS has received a Graduate Enrichment Fellowship for the academic year 2019-20. Graduate Enrichment Fellowships are sponsored by the Graduate School and are awarded through a university-wide competition. The Fellowship provides full stipend and tuition support for twelve months. Dr. Williams will start the first year of her residency program in periodontics in June.

Jesse Manton, DDS is a third-year dental anesthesiology resident who will graduate in June with a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. He received the Wittwer Graduate Fellowship, which is given to students who demonstrate interest in an academic career. The fellowship, which provides an $18,000 award, was endowed by a gift from Pauline C. Wittwer, a longtime staff member in the College of Dentistry. Dr. Manton recently accepted a position as an assistant professor-clinical in the college's Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology. His faculty appointment begins July 1st.
