Gregory Ness, DDS, is OMFS-DA Clinic Director
Dr. Gregory Ness, a Professor-Clinical in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology (OMFS-DA), was recently appointed as the division's Clinic Director.
In this role, Dr. Ness will assist with scheduling the program's residents; managing clinical support for the pre-doctoral training program in coordination with the pre-doctoral Clinic Program Director; and he will work with the division chair to develop and coordinate policies and initiatives related to clinical operations.
Dr. Ness was appointed to this position by Dr. Peter Larsen, Chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology, with the approval of Dean Lloyd. Commenting on the selection of Dr. Ness for this role, the dean said, "Dr. Ness's broad scope of practice in the oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty, and his breadth of experience as a program director and a senior faculty member, make him ideally suited for this position that will have a great impact on the way the division cares for patients and educates students and residents."
A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Ness also holds an appointment as the college's D.P. Snyder Professor of Oral Surgery.
