Jesse Manton, DDS Joins College Faculty
Jesse Manton, DDS will join the college on July 1st as an assistant professor-clinical in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. Manton earned his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, after which he completed a dental surgery residency at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and Stanford Medical Center. He later completed an Advanced Clinical Simulation Fellowship program at the VA San Francisco and University of California San Francisco Medical Centers. He is currently a resident in the dental anesthesiology program at Ohio State's College of Dentistry and a candidate for a Master of Science in Dentistry degree that will be awarded in June.
As a faculty member, Dr. Manton will support the college's dental anesthesiology and pharmacology curricula, and he will provide sedation and general anesthesia services for the pediatric dentistry, general practice, and oral and maxillofacial surgery clinics. He will also provide general anesthesia services for dental and oral and maxillofacial surgery patients at Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center.
