Meet Our Buckeyes for Charity Ambassadors

Jessica Schroeder and Yurdanur Ucar

Helping others is a big part of what it means to be a Buckeye. That's what Buckeyes for Charity (BFC) is all about. The annual campaign gives Ohio State faculty, staff, and retirees an easy way to support nonprofit organizations across Ohio.

This year, Jessica Schroeder, Revenue Cycle Services manager, and Dr. Yurdanur Ucar, associate professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry, agreed to serve as our BFC Ambassadors. They will help share information, answer questions, and encourage support.

Since 1997, Ohio State faculty, staff, and retirees have given more than $27 million through BFC. The money supports nonprofits that help with food, housing, health care, animal welfare, and more.

BFC runs September 14 through November 3. You can give through a one-time donation or through payroll deduction. Every gift helps make a difference in communities across Ohio.

Thank you to Jessica and Dr. Ucar for helping lead our campaign, and thank you to everyone for your efforts to help us reach our goal of raising $15,000.
