Molina Healthcare Scholarships Awarded to Dental Students

The Molina Foundation, a national nonprofit organization focused on reducing disparities in access to education and health, recently funded new scholarships for students enrolled in the DDS program at Ohio State's College of Dentistry. The Molina Healthcare Scholarships provide support for dental students who have an awareness of the need to address health disparities in dental care, and who have a demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity.

The scholarship provides full tuition and fees for each student's time in the college's DDS program. Recipients must have an interest in serving indigent patients and establishing their own dental practice in a federally-designated Dental Professional Shortage Area in Ohio. Four of the college's dental students were recently chosen as Molina Healthcare Scholarship recipients: Dante Davis, D2; Andre Evans, D1; Davern Holloway, D3; and Mosep Okonny, D4; (shown below, left to right).
