Dr. Gabriela Weiss Appointed as Director of New International Program

Gabriela Weiss

The college is launching a new International Dentist Program. This program will allow dentists trained in other countries to earn a DDS. They can then become licensed to practice in the United States.

Dr. Gabriela Weiss has been named program director. She is a clinical professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Weiss earned her DDS from the National University of Tucuman in Argentina. After graduation, she completed a masters in occlusion and oral rehabilitation. She later moved to California, where she worked in private practice.

After teaching operative and prosthetic dentistry at the University of Michigan and leading courses in dental anatomy and occlusion, Dr. Weiss joined The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2001.

We will welcome the first class of international students in January 2027.
