Omar Moustafa, BDS, MSc, Wins AAFP Research Poster Prize

Dr. Omar Moustafa is a third-year resident in the college's Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program, and he is the program's Chief Resident. The research he has conducted as part of his graduate education was recently recognized with a first-place prize that was presented by the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP) for its Clinical Poster Award competition, which included participants from graduate programs throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Dr. Moustafa's research project was titled "A technique for jaw relations and teeth setup: the screw-in once concept utilizing magnetic connections." His award-winning research was supported by his faculty adviser Damian Lee, DDS, MS, Prosthodontics Department Chair, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
