Professor Emeritus is Director of American Board of Endodontics

Alfred Reader, DDS, MS, a professor emeritus in the Division of Endodontics, was recently selected to serve as a Director of the American Board of Endodontics.

Dr. Reader is a nationally recognized researcher in the field of pain control as it relates to endodontic procedures, and he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics (ABE).

Selected by the voting membership of the ABE, Dr. Reader is one of nine directors whose responsibilities include governing the organization and its operation, as well as contributing to certification procedures for diplomate candidates. Each director serves a term of three years.
