Safety Update: Ongoing Efforts at Postle Hall

Our Building Safety workgroup continues to look for ways to keep Postle Hall safe.
Some improvements made over the past year, and others planned for the near future, are below.

• More security cameras and duress buttons
• Changes to access at some exterior doors and elevators
• More safety training
• New door numbers to help first responders find locations faster
• An expanded Safety Carnival—an annual event in the courtyard with informational safety exhibits—for the entire college community

Tabletop training sessions are now being scheduled for offices and workgroups. These sessions will help us practice how to respond during an emergency and learn what to do in our work area.
