Shared Values Awards Honor Staff and Faculty
December 6, 2024
In 2019, Ohio State began implementing a university-wide Shared Values Initiative that was approved by the President's Cabinet in 2021 and then released across campus. The initiatives reminds the university community of its "shared values" and commitment to excellence and impact; diversity and innovations; inclusion and equity; care and compassion; and integrity and respect.
On November 19, 2024, the college presented shared values awards to staff and faculty whose behaviors demonstrate those values. Award recipients were nominated by their college peers and were then selected by an awards committee. A total of six awards were presented to these recipients:
- Ms. Beth Chartier, Assistant Professor-Clinical in the Division of Dental Hygiene, for "Inclusion and Equity"
- Ms. Gloria Everett, Pre-Clinic Lab Coordinator, for "Care and Compassion"
