Shared Values Awards Presented to Staff and Faculty

At the college’s Staff and Faculty Forum held June 3, Dean Carroll Ann Trotman presented the college’s Shared Values Awards for staff and faculty. Ohio State introduced the Shared Values in 2021 to support meaningful behaviors and actions as members of the university community go through their daily work. One staff member and one faculty member were recognized for their “Excellence and Impact.” The winners were nominated by their peers and a Shared Values committee reviewed the nominees and selected the award recipients.

Gabriella Zimmer, DDS, MS, is an Assistant Professor-Clinical in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. She was honored for serving as an outstanding leader who embodies the mission and vision of the college through a strong commitment to the highest standards of patient care, collaboration, and student success.

Ms. Jessica Vasko, a Revenue Cycle Manager in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, was recognized for her positive interactions with the college’s IHIS/Wisdom Committees and EPIC and medical center team members; working tirelessly to schedule residents, staff, and faculty for Wisdom Training; and being instrumental in the overall success of the division.
