Two Students Recognized at IADR

College of Dentistry students Matthew Mason and Megan Fellows were recognized at the annual International Association for Dental Research (IADR) meeting held March 11-14 in  Boston.

Mason won the IADR Periodontal Group Presidents’ Travel Award for his presentation, “Acquisition and Habitat-specific Compartmentalization of the Oral Microbiome." The award covers travel to and accommodation at the IADR General Session.

Fellows won the AADR Bloc Travel award for her presentation, "Smoking, Diabetes and the Subgingival Microbiome." The award supports “travel for dental students and NIDCR-supported trainees to the IADR General Session & Exhibition in Seoul, Republic of Korea for presentation of scientific papers on dental research.”
