For dental students, residents and practicing dentists - The Dental/Maxillofacial Anesthesiology residency program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is proud to present an opportunity to visit with us and explore this specialty of dental practice.

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Externship Program is designed for students who will have completed their second year of dental school before arriving and who desire additional exposure to a full-scope, university-based academic oral and maxillofacial surgery training program.

The Orthodontic Externship Program is offered to interested domestic and international dental students and dentists considering a career in orthodontics.

The Division of Pediatric Dentistry at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and the Department of Dentistry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital offer the opportunity for third- or fourth-year dental students and practicing dentists to visit our program and spend up to three days in Columbus, Ohio, observing activities related to pediatric dentistry.

The Postdoctoral Periodontal Program at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry offers formal externship opportunities to qualified U.S. or Canadian dental students. The purpose of the externship is to expose dental students to advanced study in periodontics as well as postdoctoral periodontal students and faculty.
