Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate/MS Option
Welcome to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Ohio State
Our four-year program offers substantial experience in the full scope of major hospital maxillofacial procedures and outpatient clinical surgery for adults and children, including comprehensive dental implant experience at one of the busiest surgical implant programs in the nation. Oral and maxillofacial surgery inpatient experience is gained at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Outpatient care is done primarily at the College of Dentistry clinics. As a resident, you may spend two elective months in a busy maxillofacial unit in Dublin, Ireland, where you will participate in a widely diverse scope of practice and also gain first-hand understanding of a different health care system and culture.
We also offer a 12 month pre-residency internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
