Prospective Students

Clinical Rotations

Your clinical experiences will include primary care pediatric dentistry in a modern 20-chair dental clinic on the Ohio State campus, where you will be assigned your own dental assistant.

Sedation and general anesthesia experiences will occur at both Nationwide Children’s Hospital in a surgery center dedicated to dental care for children and The Ohio State University Pediatric Dentistry Clinic’s McConnell General Anesthesia Suite.

The residency program also provides dental care opportunities with children who have special health care needs, in either the clinic settings or main operating room suites. Orthodontics treatment is provided under the guidance of attending faculty orthodontists.
